MASSAI Minoray Champagne Stretch Lambskin Leather Top on Silk Organza

MASSAI is one of the defining constructions of the Jitrois House, crafted using the signature Minoray technique.

Designed directly on the mannequin, it is constructed from fine, hand-cut strips of stretch lambskin leather, each folded and assembled one by one onto a silk organza base, following the natural lines of the body. The volume is not added, but generated through construction, allowing the silhouette to emerge with precision and continuity.

The disciplined layering of the strips naturally pre-shapes the bust and stabilises the silhouette while preserving full freedom of movement. The structure remains flexible, never rigid, maintaining the sensation of a second skin.

A stretch back panel ensures comfort and adaptability, while a tone-on-tone zip provides a clean and precise closure. The high neckline extends the vertical axis and frees the shoulders through the American armhole, reinforcing the architectural clarity of the silhouette.

In its champagne version, the Minoray construction takes on a luminous dimension. The surface captures and diffuses light across the body, revealing the rhythm of the structure while enhancing the contours with subtle intensity. The architecture remains exact, yet the perception becomes softer, more radiant.

MASSAI functions as a structured second skin — sculptural yet living — where couture construction meets immediate bodily presence. On its own, it asserts a precise, controlled presence, in evenings, private dinners and refined social settings where light reveals the silhouette.
